San Lorenzo de Picurís

It was a beautiful day yesterday for an early evening trip on the high road to Taos. The light was just perfect on the 200 year old church at Picuris Pueblo. It took almost eight years for tribal members to hand restore the adobe church.

Here is the older building before the restoration taken on Thanksgiving day 1984
