Rio Grande Gorge Waterfall

A rare occurrence of a waterfall taken February 14th in the Rio Grande Gorge north of the Taos Junction Bridge, Pilar, NM

I spoke to a resident of Carson NM who said he had never seen anything like this in fifty six (56) years living in this area.

There are numerous outburst of water and falling rocks and scenes such as this along the gorge rim throughout the Orilla Verde Recreation Area Temperatures were warmer over the last few days, snow melted ... and the river is rising.
